Potassium aluminum silicate hydroxide fluoride

 Cleavage: perfect in one direction producing thin sheets or flakes

 Colour: white, silver, yellow, green and brown

 Fracture: not readily observed due to cleavage but is uneven

 Hardness: 2 - 2.5

 Luster: vitreous to pearly

 Streak: white

 Possible Useage: heat and electrical insulator for industrial purposes
