 The trenches and drill sites are located on the top of the hills, along the east and west banks MacCuspics Brook, approximately 9.25 km west of the Marble Mountain limestone quarry and 1200-1700 m north of the junction of MacCuspics Brook with the West Bay Road.

 Cleavage: perfect in two directions at near 90 degrees forming prisms with a rectangular cross-sections. A third direction of cleavage is only good to fair and overall cleavage fragments are elongated splinters

 Colour: white, colorless or grey

 Fracture: splintery to uneven

 Hardness: 5 - 5.5

 Luster: vitreous or dull to pearly on cleavage surfaces

 Streak: white

 Possible Useage: ceramics, paint filler, mineral specimens
